This was a fun day. Multi-day ride and we were out near #kandos in #newsouthwales. We got hit by torrential rain, and turned around to dry off in a cafe. Once we had, I jumped off the bike to take this photo. Dalma was none too impressed. S
What “kandos” means
WikipediaKandos is a rural town located within the Mid-Western Region in New South Wales, Australia. The area is the traditional home of the Dabee tribe of the Wiradjuri people. Kandos and neighboring town Rylstone have a shared community that is connected through farming, events, the arts and Aboriginal culture. Kandos is within an hours drive of Mudgee, and within two of Lithgow and Bathurst. It is a three hour drive from Sydney ; and Newcastle. In the 2021 census, Kandos had a population of 1263.
